Thames Water are working on urgent repairs and maintenance (again). The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. An update from the Wiltshire Council Senior Engineer. "As consultant representative for Wiltshire Council, I write to inform you of surface dressing and associated works programmed on C120 - C121 to UC East of Lambourne Ground.   The site extents plans can be viewed on the attached drawing.   These works involve application of surface dressing, associated treatments and reinstatement of road markings where required.   The works will commence on Wednesday 1 st April 2026

The annual litter pick brought together over 50 residents from Broad Hinton, Winterbourne Bassett and Uffcott. The most successful yet!!! Armed with litter pickers, bags, gloves, volunteers spread out across the villages and nearby lanes to clear away litter, report fly-tipping on MyWilts , and improve the local environment.
