Notice of Referendum Result

Following the referendum held on 24th September 2026, the results were as follows.

Question: Do you want Wiltshire Council to use the neighbourhood plan for Broad Hinton and Winterbourne Bassett to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?

• Yes: 251

• No: 47

• Rejected: 1

• Turnout: 49.02 %

The Residents of Broad Hinton, Winterbourne Bassett and Uffcott have voted for the neighbourhood plan.

The Plan is now part of the statutory Wiltshire Council Development Plan and will be applied to all planning applications in our parishes.

The Parish Council wishes to thank everyone who voted in the referendum.
