Broad Hinton & Winterbourne Bassett Parish Council

The finger post at the junction of Post Office Lane had been knocked over and on investigation had significant rot. Thanks to Cllr. Ade Rudler and Cllr. Tony Iles for repairing, repainting and installing the post, getting it back to its former glory!!!

The next meeting of the Parish Council is being held at 19:30 on Tuesday 6th January 2026 in the small conference room of the Broad Hinton Village Hall.

PARISH OF BROAD HINTON NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that due to the resignation of Jim Gunter, a vacancy has arisen in the Office of Councillor for the Joint Parish Council. If by 11 December 2025 (14 days after the date of this notice) a request for an election to fill said vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer at the address below by TEN electors from the parish of Broad Hinton, an election will be held to fill the said vacancy, otherwise the vacancy will be filled
