Updated Neighbourhood Plan consultation

TWO-WEEK CONSULTATION ON COMPLIANCE WITH THE REVISED BASIC CONDITIONS DUE TO NEW PLANNING RULES. 

During the examination, the examiner has identified that new planning legislation came into force on 25th March 2026, which affects the legal requirements (including the basic conditions) that neighbourhood development plans must meet. The examiner has therefore asked Wiltshire Council to carry out a short, targeted consultation so that comments can be made on whether the neighbourhood development plan complies with these new legal requirements.

The consultation runs from Wednesday 29 April until 5 pm on Tuesday 12 May 2026.
