Road closed between Avebury and Beckhampton

From Tuesday 3rd October 2023 for 2 days between 09:00 and 15:00.

Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Urgent Closure of: A4361 (Part), Avebury

WILTSHIRE COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 3rd October 2023, the following length of road shall be closed to all traffic in the interests of public safety to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing, road marking replacments and other associated works. A4361 (Part), Avebury; from its junction with Longfields to its junction with Nash Road.

Alternative route: via A4361 (unaffected length) to the County Boundary, B4005, A3102, A4, A4361 (unaffected length) and vice versa.

The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The diversion route will be symbolised with Triangles.

These works will commence on 3rd October 2023 and are anticipated to be required for 2 days between the hours of 09:00 and 15:00. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 5 days. For further information regarding these works please contact Wiltshire Council on 01225 713497.
