Join the Fight for a New GP Surgery at Wichelstowe to Improve Community Health

Many of us in Broad Hinton, Winterbourne Bassett and Uffcott rely on the Ridgeway View surgery in Wroughton. In recent years, the surgery has had a large increase in patients due to developments in Wroughton and Wichelstowe.

Wroughton Councillor Dr. Matthew Smith has started a petition to finally get a new GP surgery in Wichelstowe.

"The plans for a new GP surgery at Wichelstowe had been in place since the inception of the development. Residents have been promised a new facility helping to facilitate this growing areas health infrastructure and alleviating pressures on other GP surgeries in the surrounding areas especially within Wroughton.

This petition is about residents, families, health care professionals and patients across our local area and wants to strongly highlight that the delay is causing major concern for all.

I hope together that we can push this forward highlighting this as a major local issue and get the facility built and patients through the door."
